    Cicansky Sculpture and Signage

Two 10′ high laser cut steel silhouette sculptures of a man and woman gardening will be soon be part of the signage that proudly welcomes members and guests to YARA - GROW REGINA COMMUNITY GARDEN at the Queen Street entrance.

The introduction of these sculptures has been made possible by the donation of an additional $5,000 by Yara Belle Plaine and funds raised through the sale of the Cicansky mini-sculptures.  The sculptures will be donated to the City of Regina for ongoing care and protection.  If you would like to purchase a set of the Limited Edition Series of the Mini-Cicansky Sculptures to support future Grow Regina Capital Fund Projects, please contact us at 352-4813 or email contact@growregina.ca

Grow Regina has been working with Vic Cicansky, Ingrid Thiessen and the City of Regina on this project since last year. Preparation for the arrival of the sculptures will begin in July with the removal of several lilac shrubs and completion of a the 20′ pathway at the Queen Street entrance. Check back for more information announcing details of the unveiling ceremony to be held later in August. Preliminary drawings below are provided Ingrid Thiessen, Landscape Designer.

The Queen Street pathway is being prepared and the cement planters will arrive at 11 am on Friday, July 29th.

A special thank you to The Regina Food Bank for providing the forklift to unload the 3400 lb pallets.
